The Dangerous Book for Boys
I've been wanting to get The Dangerous Book for Boys for my son's 9th birthday. But a new hardcover at $25 is a whole lot of money. Fortunately, while shopping at Sam's Club, I found it markeddcown to $14.87.
I think this was the best $14.87 I ever spent. Birthday Boy and his brothers absolutely love this book. They've had their noses in it all day.
I checked amazon.com to read the reviews and they have it for $14.95.
I have a nephew that is going into 9th grade. Do you think that he would be too old for this book? I looks like it would be a great way to distract him from the video games.
I would say it depends on the individual 9th grader. Maybe you can get a peek at it in the bookstore to see if it'll peek your nephew's interest. My 3rd and 5th grade boys loved and it. My 11th grade son got a kick out of it too, but I don't think I would've bought it just for him.
My three year old and one year old boys bought this book for their father for Father's Day. Dad couldn't put the book down. Thee are in for a lot of adventures!
